I have been writing longer work recently, but tiny vaguely mad stories will always be my first love. Despite my many attempts to become rambling and serious, a few short stories have made their way out this old meat cage, and into the world. This summer I will have a short story published in New Writing Scotland. This annual volume of poetry and prose publishes works by writers resident in Scotland or Scots by birth, upbringing, or inclination. I love this anothology, it was the first place I was ever published over a decade ago. I am so happy to be coming home to their pages once again. I really love this story, so I am happy it will be published somewhere so precious to me.
